“Am I Too Blue For You”

“Blue”. Blue is a 6 month old gelding off the Navajo Indian Reservation. We purchased him at auction, and he was completely wild at time of purchase. Blue is now halter trained. He leads on a loose line, and ties. Blue is still shy, but coming along well. He looks so much better after worming.Blue stands about 12 hands. He has nice black feet, and nice legs. Blue will make a nice all round horse. He is a real sweetheart.

Chili Bean, “Chili”

Chili is approximately 4 months old, and is gelded. Chili came to us also from the Navajo Indian Reservation. Chili was completely wild, sick with a bad cold, and very underweight. After medication and a lot of TLC, this little guy is coming along so well. What a cutie he is!! He has nice conformation, and a very cute face. He has nice feet too! Chili is halter trained. He leads and ties well. Chili is still very shy and uncertain about people. He will make a nice all round horse.

“Lotus”.

Lotus is an approximately 2.5 yr old filly. Lotus also comes from the Navajo Indian Reservation. Lotus was tame when she arrived. She is easy to catch, leads well, and stands tied. Lotus has two rides on her. She accepted the saddle well, and did not offer to buck when backed. She moves nicely. Lotus is very small, she will never get bigger than pony sized. She stands 12.2 hands. Lotus will make a great child’s mount. She has a gentle, and kind disposition. A darling girl.

Holly

Holly is approximately one year old. She also was purchased at auction, and is off the Navajo Indian Reservation. Holly was very wild. She is still a timid girl, but has had her first halter training session. She did very well. This is going to be a very sweet horse. Holly is quite exotic looking, with a beautiful face! Holly is still very underweight. I expect her training and gentling will progress rapidly from now on. Holly should make a nice all round mount.

“Wild Flower”

“Flower” also came to us through the same auction from the four corners area. Flower is gorgeous! She is a flashy sabino filly, approximately 7 months old. She is nicely put together. Flower was so wild. She has had her first halter session, and did well. She is still very frightened. With a lot of TLC, we expect her to gentle nicely. Flower will make someone a fine little horse.

“Macy Gray”

Macy is an approximately 2 year old gray pony mare.  She came from auction, and probably also from the Indian Reservation.  Macy was very mangy, and covered in lice.  Macy was also very underweight. Now after medication and TLC, she looks, and feels,  much better.  Macy is shy, but very gentle.  She is halter trained, and ties well.  Macy will be a big pony, probably 13-14 hands.  Acy will make a great child’s, or small adult’s all round mount.

“Jack Daniels”

“JD” is an approximately 2 year old pony stallion.  JD also came to us from the auction off the Navajo Indian Reservation.  JD is very sweet with a nice gentle temperament.  He came to us with a bad case of lice also, and very underweight.  JD will make a wonderful little child’s mount.  He will probably be aroudn 14 hands.  He gentled down so nicely.  JD is one of our favorites!!

“Nutmeg”

Nutmeg came to us several months ago from the auction.  Nutmeg is approximately 6 months old.  She also is off the Navajo Indian Reservation.  Nutmeg came to us very wild and sick.  She also was infested with lice, and severely underweight.  After medication, and a lot of care, she is feeling better.  Nutmeg is gentling nicely, and we are currently halter training her.  She has a beautiful face, and will be a cute little mare.

“Yo-Yo”

We purchased this little filly from the Holbrook auction.  She too was off the Navajo Indian Reservation.  Yo-Yo is approximately 8 months old.  This baby was so wild at first.  She is now halter trained, but still pretty shy.  Yo-Yo is very pretty!  She is chocolate colored with a silver/gold mane and tail.  Photos to follow.  This horse will make a great ll round mount.
